Ding, ding, ding. Source has said they are very, very, very close and Danny was asked to go to WKU last year but his contract and departure from USF would not allow it. The question is if Purdue is OK with it, would Danny be OK with it? I personally don't think he will do it, but interesting nonetheless.

Interesting that Brohm even took the job given that he must how PU treated DH1. Brohm must figure it's a new day now with MB2. Hopefully DH1 doesn't hold it against PU now that MB1 is gone! Still, a lot of PU fans treated, and talked about, DH1 pretty shabbily.

Brohm had $20 million reasons. The real irony would be Danny making more $$ as OL coach than he did as head man.
