This is priceless. YOU start a thread about dems wanting to get rid of ICE. I post a quote BY TRUMP where he says Americans will be afraid to leave their homes if there is no ICE.......and ask if you agree with that. After several attempts at deflection, you come up with this.

Sorry, but DSA has to “pretty up” their stances because without doing so no one in their right mind would support their anti-American policies. Socialism is incompatible with our Constitution. Ah yes, the US is the most evil nation on the planet. The US beat the Axis Powers twice. Take a look at history, pal, and count up how many millions of people Lenin, Stalin, Pol Pot, the Castros, the Kims, Chairman Mao, etc., etc., killed in order to install socialism/communism in their nations.
FDR used socialistic policies to try to get the USA out of the Great Depression. They didn't work particularly well. It wasn't until WW II that the USA pulled out of its economic malaise. The war decimated Europe and allowed the USA to become the unchallenged superpower in the world. The USSR tried to keep up but failed.
Some people in here are badly overrating how much abolishing ICE would actually do. The United Stayes existed some 220 of so years without the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency, and there were multiple periods during that time immigration controls were as strict or more than they are now.
