You're missing the context of the argument. Previous infection should mean a waiver from vaccine mandates, and it was never considered. This argument not silly.
I don't gaf either way, and it is a silly argument........considering the data wasn't there when people were making the claim. Just because people who had no facts made the claim doesn't mean they get to 'I told you so" now.
The scientific community doesn't jump to conclusions when it comes to public safety........especially when people are dying. The process is slow, mistakes are going to be made, they are going to err on the side of caution.
The facts were out in July of last year but were brushed aside in favor of the hivemind narrative.
For most, the odds were already good they wouldn't be hospitalized or die, so 4 to 6 times better actually really becomes meaningless as either way you are the 90% range. Now if you are in a high risk group, yeah, it makes a difference.
Yep, this isn’t new information to those of us who have paid attention to something other than the msm spin narratives. Unfortunately, the medical professionals and scientist who have been speaking out on this and many other things have been labeled “fringe” or to be spreading misinformation. This has been nothing more than the pharmaceutical industry exploiting Covid and milking it for all its worth and our federal govt has been complicit in the scheme. Over 900K people have died from Covid and more of those people have died with Biden in office than with Trump in office. Masks have done very little to protect people. Yet in many blue places, they still mandate masks be required even though their benefit is unquestionably marginal at best.

Two things can be true at once: the messaging has been horrible, from the start (and continues to be) and we’re dealing with a new and still-evolving virus.
Trump made this political out of the gate. His message all along should have been to just listen to the science but understand that we’re dealing with something new, that we have to understand what we thought worked a few weeks ago doesn’t apply now and vice versa. But he didn’t do that. And then when the vaccines were approved and rolled out, he should have touted the ever living shit out of them. Like nonstop. But nope.
And you’re right, Biden did run on the premise that it would get better under him. And you’re right that more people have died since. You also conveniently fail to list why that is, though. Gee, wonder why? I mean you can’t fix stupid. This administration begged and pleaded with people to get the vaccines. When that didn’t work, he went the mandate route. Yet the same crybabies, you included, whining that Biden didn’t do enough are the same ones balking at any option he tries. So what do you propose then? I mean yeah pretty much at this point Darwin will just do his thing for those that won’t get vaccinated. I’m not excusing the last one. The messaging was all over the place. There were certainly missteps but Trump did push for early approvals of vaccines and got supply chains set up to distribute them, ventilators, and PPE. I highly doubt someone like Biden would had the wherewithal to do most of these things. We might just be getting vaccines if it had been up to someone like HRC or Sleepy Joe.
I totally agree. Those clowns (Lieden and Harris) can’t or refuse to protect us from crime and the boarder where people spread the virus. They most certainly would have a most difficult time from solving a virus that they can’t even see. Although they do have Fauci the answer man on their side.
