Well, the CDC has published a report that shows unequivocally that natural immunity offers better protection against covid. I wonder if all those guys who insisted otherwise will care to weigh in.

But...you have to risk getting infected without being vaccinated...which according to this makes you about 4 to 6 times more likely to be hospitalized or die...this argument silly.

You're missing the context of the argument. Previous infection should mean a waiver from vaccine mandates, and it was never considered. This argument not silly.

I don't gaf either way, and it is a silly argument........considering the data wasn't there when people were making the claim. Just because people who had no facts made the claim doesn't mean they get to 'I told you so" now.

The scientific community doesn't jump to conclusions when it comes to public safety........especially when people are dying. The process is slow, mistakes are going to be made, they are going to err on the side of caution.

For most, the odds were already good they wouldn't be hospitalized or die, so 4 to 6 times better actually really becomes meaningless as either way you are the 90% range. Now if you are in a high risk group, yeah, it makes a difference.

The facts were out in July of last year but were brushed aside in favor of the hivemind narrative.
Yep, this isn’t new information to those of us who have paid attention to something other than the msm spin narratives. Unfortunately, the medical professionals and scientist who have been speaking out on this and many other things have been labeled “fringe” or to be spreading misinformation. This has been nothing more than the pharmaceutical industry exploiting Covid and milking it for all its worth and our federal govt has been complicit in the scheme. It’s disgusting and so obvious to anyone with an objective mind.

All I know is anything on YouTube is definitely misinformation

Yes, follow the science. Like “masks will protect you from Covid”. Like “getting vaccinated will protect you from getting Covid”.

Both lies. Much of this was politics, control, and fearmongering. The scientists had little idea how this would play out - at least not the ones with the left’s political backing and agenda.

Because they were lying when they made those statements or recommendations? It wasn't because they were only working with the data they had at the time, that they they didn't have a full grasp of the virus? FFS we don't even have that now.

If they had said don't worry about the virus, take no precautions to protect yourself you'd be screaming about how they were negligent and caused millions of deaths.

Your Monday morning quarterbacking is convenient and bullshit. They didn't have all the correct answers from they beginning.......but since rhe info they gave out wasn't always correct, based on the data they had at the time, you say they were lying. Freaking brilliant.

So it turns out Trump was more right than wrong. Fauci was more wrong than right.

They did lie - especially Fauci. They acted like they had all the answers. They obviously didn’t. Over 900K people have died from Covid and more of those people have died with Biden in office than with Trump in office. Yet Biden made it sound like “if you elect me, it’ll magically get better than it’s been with the evil Orange Man in office”. It was total fearmongering. You talk about bullshit - that was bullshit.

Masks have done very little to protect people. Yet in many blue places, they still mandate masks be required even though their benefit is unquestionably marginal at best.

Keep slurping the blue kool-aid, dude.

Come on, SD, at least try to be a bit smarter here.

Two things can be true at once: the messaging has been horrible, from the start (and continues to be) and we’re dealing with a new and still-evolving virus.

Trump made this political out of the gate. His message all along should have been to just listen to the science but understand that we’re dealing with something new, that we have to understand what we thought worked a few weeks ago doesn’t apply now and vice versa. But he didn’t do that. And then when the vaccines were approved and rolled out, he should have touted the ever living shit out of them. Like nonstop. But nope.

And you’re right, Biden did run on the premise that it would get better under him. And you’re right that more people have died since. You also conveniently fail to list why that is, though. Gee, wonder why? I mean you can’t fix stupid. This administration begged and pleaded with people to get the vaccines. When that didn’t work, he went the mandate route. Yet the same crybabies, you included, whining that Biden didn’t do enough are the same ones balking at any option he tries. So what do you propose then? I mean yeah pretty much at this point Darwin will just do his thing for those that won’t get vaccinated. But there’s no need to lie about things like masks when it’s absolutely been proven true that they help mitigate the spread. There’s no need to be so full of shit, although you clearly can’t help it.

You can’t honestly believe this is how it’s transpired?

So to recap: the “experts” were wrong in 2021.

Why would anyone listen to them in 2022?

You can't believe that public health officials tasked with saving lives deliberately and consciously put out information that KNEW to be false? That's lying. Being wrong when you make recommendations with the info you have at the time isn't lying.

You wanna say they were proved wrong by the data in some areas, that's fine. But to now crow that people with no knowledge were right and the experts were wrong is BS.

You’re calling me stupid and the turn around and say Trump should have said “follow the science”? In what alternate reality does that sound like something he would EVER say? LMAO. You’re nuanced description of what he should have said sounds like something an epidemiologist would write and say, not Donald J. Trump. He would never articulate something like that, even if he could.

Turns out natural immunity is better immunity than what’s provided by vaccines. That is if you actually survive getting Covid without getting vaccinated….

I’m guessing you’re still waiting on them to discover bat #0 at the wet markets.

Why are we just now hearing about Vitamin D deficiency from the MSM and the Biden admin?
Why are we just now hearing about early treatment protocols from them?
Why are we just now hearing about the effectiveness of natural immunity from the MSM and Biden admin? They’ve done nothing but push vaccination or else for well over a year and it wasn’t based on anything other than maximizing profit.

These are all things that have been documented and well known by the “conspiracy theorists” and “fringe” but yet the Mainstream is just now putting it out there so of course you and yours lap it up and are acting as if basic epidemiology has changed.

Omitting facts and information intentionally is absolutely lying. Look at how Covid numbers were manipulated in New York, not differentiating between dying of Covid and dying with Covid, if you don’t believe that. And that’s just one example.

You keep referring to those in the msm, I assume the Fuaci’s and bureaucrats of the public health sector, as the “experts” ,but what about those “fringe” medical professionals and scientists who are just as qualified, and in some instances more qualified? Why were they silenced and de platformed if it’s all about “following the science”. Is Anthony Fauci himself “science” and beyond question? Look at who stood to benefit from this whole pandemic and therein lies the malfeasance.

This is all quite rich coming from someone who believed numbers and “facts” from your favorite pillow seller.

But that’s my point, SD. You’re on here wailing about this administration while excusing the last one. You’re saying that Trump would never say follow the science. Okay. Well then what happens next? People don’t and they die in much larger numbers than needed to happen.

And I’ll ask again: what would you do? Like I said, you’re whining about this administration and the deaths that have occurred but offered up nothing as alternative actions. You and your fellow righties cry and bitch and moan and stonewall, but offer nothing as any kind of solution. I’ll just make the easy (and most likely accurate) assumption that this is because you’d rather scream Let’s Go Brandon all day every day vs the basic necessary shit to move past all of this.

I’d say no one wants to move past this $hit more than your friends on the right. We’ve been over this for awhile now - it’s the Ds who seem to want to keep pushing mask mandates, everyone must get vaccinated, remote school, and the typical fearporn of new variants.

People are sick of this stuff and want to get back to their “regular” lives. Only problem is - things can never really be the same again after this ordeal.

That comeback is about as old and stale as our current commander in chief, which you’d realize if you got off his jock long enough to come up for a breather.

I’m not excusing the last one. The messaging was all over the place. There were certainly missteps but Trump did push for early approvals of vaccines and got supply chains set up to distribute them, ventilators, and PPE. I highly doubt someone like Biden would had the wherewithal to do most of these things. We might just be getting vaccines if it had been up to someone like HRC or Sleepy Joe.

I totally agree. Those clowns (Lieden and Harris) can’t or refuse to protect us from crime and the boarder where people spread the virus. They most certainly would have a most difficult time from solving a virus that they can’t even see. Although they do have Fauci the answer man on their side. And he’s done insurmountable damage to the young generation in the school systems.

First, it’s border. Second, your gullibility is laughable. If I sent you my Venmo and told you I was a Nigerian princess who needed help escaping, you’d no doubt transfer the money instantly. Your post reads like you were sitting on the shitter, copying nonsense from memes and then pasting it in your thread.

What have you seen from Biden that gives you one iota of confidence about his ability to lead this country? Seriously……Same for Kamala Harris…..

They are both complete disasters. Don’t believe me - look at your left-leaning polls. Nobody seems to think he’s doing well right now.
