How many high school basketball teams run the same offense as Purdue? I'm pretty sure that no AAU teams run it, but if I'm wrong on that, please correct me.

I think II've read from people in the know, on this site, that there are very few high school teams running a motion offense.

The point is that CMP can't avoid having to project how a pg is going to fit in his system. It worked with Grant and Lewjack, it didn't work with RJ and Bryson (although I hate lumping Bryson in with RJ because I think he's leaps and bounds ahead of RJ in maturity, and I'll always consider him a true Boiler because of the way he's handled 2 very frustrating seasons), and probably CJ. It will work with PJT and GW. This offense doesn't require a dynamic point guard to make it run well. It values ball security, BB IQ, and defense on the other side of the court.

I've read that it's CMP's fault for not adjusting to his recruits. This has to be a joke. The coach is supposed to change his whole system for one player? No. Obviously no thought was given to how that would affect the other positions CMP recruits for.

Those that think it's a horrible sign for Purdue if GW is playing big minutes next year, are in for a surprise. Never underestimate a gritty kid from Indiana that loves to compete and is grateful for the opportunity to play D1 basketball at a high level.

This board is a microcosm of society. It's funny how everyone complains about how the 2 political parties never make bi-partisan efforts to fix this country, yet in our small insignificant fandom we can't let go of our agendas for 2 seconds to disect a topic with any rational thought.
