I like this tweet

Scott tweeted, “Congrats Big Fella. They Gone Love You.”

Classy response. I was hoping we would have had 3 starters from the Fort...would bear well in the present as well as the future from a very talented region. Wish Scott the best moving forward. Shame it didn't work out.

Scott has a good head on his shoulders. I wish him the best.

People on here made way too big of a stink over his situation. Scott was your average transfer. He never made a big stink of things, people just assumed way too much.

If he picks the right school, I am sure it will be a better situation for playing time but in a way there has to be a little regret that he could have been part of something special developing going forward at Purdue. I read where he has 3 schools on his radar, 2 in Indiana and also WGB. I have to admit when I was young and playing, all I cared about was playing. If I wasn't playing, I held a little grudge against the coach because I absolutely knew I was the best option:)

You are right. People on here tend to read too much in to things and think they can perceive an entire situation based off of what they see on a TV screen.

You can take from Scott's tweet that he holds no ill-will unlike RJ and left for probably one of thousand different reasons.

Good luck Bryson.

Scott is a good kid and will do well..............

He is a great player and will continue to be...............

He was recruited into a system that at the time was looking for penetrating guards (RJ, TJ, Little AJ, etc.) in the motion offense.

As AJ Hammons established himself and now with Haas, Taylor, Edwards and Biggie, Purdue still runs the Motion Offense but with a focus of feeding the post first then if not their reversing the ball to the open man for a 3 pointer or drive and dish.

Went from:
1) Move the ball and get to open man or reverse the ball in motion to get to open man
2) Drive and dish or drive and finish at rim
3) Get garbage rebound basket

to this since we now have a post presence:
1) Move the ball but look to feed the post
2) Reverse to find the open man and take quality shot
3) Drive and dish or drive and finish at rim
4) Get Garbage rebound basket
*Note: I also think we will see a lot of post to post passing this year like Michigan State does very well. Pass in to Biggie/Edwards/Hass to draw the defense and they pass to AJ/Haas for easy layups/dunks.
*Note: Also 3 step passing to the wings....pass to post...to post then out to the wing or top of key for a three point shot.

With the 3,4 and 5 spots being solid and with little drop off when going to the bench, we should see higher scoring, higher field goal percentage and should be able to out rebound our competitor on both ends.

Should be fun to watch, unfortunately Bryson's Scotts game didn't translate to what was needed and he was not in a position to adapt his game.

He is a scorer and a bulldog defender.....he will find a team that needs that and will do VERY WELL!

I wish him very well.............

Boiler Up!

Actually Ronnie didn't have a great deal of negative things to say. Pretty sure that was all about a parent interfering in the process.

Yeah some players just don't work out in a system. I want him to do well. You better watch it. Foolmeoncefan is going to be pissed that you stole his post length thunder. I did that once after 2 Red Bulls. Hell I didn't sleep for two days either. Just funnin' with you on a great week:) Keep up the good work.

While maybe not publicly (other than the one tweet that was mentioned on here), it sure didn't sound like he was a good teammate based on a number of comments made in the offseason last year.

Whether that was caused by a parent in his ear or not, he still obviously reflected the views of that parent onto his teammates.
