That is EXACTLY what it looked like...Auburn-esque for sure. Not even watching but sounds Auburn-like.
I would argue that our offense has looked like we belong. A few big bonehead plays across the board have made it look like we aren’t competitive. Defense has left a lot to be desired so far but the score doesn’t tell the entire story today. That is EXACTLY what it looked like...Auburn-esque for sure.
Just shows that even with strides made...even since that particular game...how much ground remains to be made up ultimately.
The disparity in speed was SO apparent in that particular game, and, is equally apparent today.
That said, it is not as if they have not wanted to give "payback" in the past...credit to Purdue for not having allowed it.Not watching either and somehow I figured this would get ugly. We have ruined their day on quite a few occasions and this is payback.
If not for the two turnovers this is a close game. Our office can’t be stopped and neither can theirs. This is a good lesson for us come bowl game. The lesson is we can go up against anyone we just can’t turn the ball overI would argue that our offense has looked like we belong. And the shanked puntYes, those turnovers were at least a 14 point swing, probably more as they cannot stop our offense.
Spotting the other team 14 in the first half of the first quarter usually doesn't end well. O has come miles, D played a true top 5, maybe top 3 O in the country today.I would argue that our offense has looked like we belong.
