Are you inferring Purdue will finish second? I think that would be great. but I'd rather Purdue played for a championship.
you realize the Rose Bowl is usually reserved for the BIG 10 team that doesn't get invited into the NCAA Championship series ? if OSU makes the championship series, Michigan ( the BIG 10 second place team) goes to the Rose Bowl.

Yes I do realize that the Rose Bowl is for Big Ten teams not invited to the NCAA Tournament. I’m looking at the Rose Bowl as baby steps to the National Championship.
Wouldn’t a Purdue ND National Championship game be incredible?
I'll mediate: Play in the Rose Bowl within 2 yrs and Championship series in 3 years.you realize the Rose Bowl is usually reserved for the BIG 10 team that doesn't get invited into the NCAA Championship series ? if OSU makes the championship series, Michigan ( the BIG 10 second place team) goes to the Rose Bowl.

it's a tough call. Would Purdue fans and alumni prefer Purdue played in the Rose bowl? or as part of the national championship series? My guess is it would be 50/50
Not surprised that was the high point on a Louisville radio station today. Of course the big difference between the two situations is that Utah was in the Mountain West, had G5 facilities, and was limited in how much support they could throw at Urban. When he "blew up" he had to go SEC and B1G to reach his potential. Purdue, with B1G funding, is a place Brohm can "blow up" and his support structure will "blow up" along with him. Any B1G team with the right coach and support of the administration can make it big time. Look at what little old Northwestern is doing. Look what Wisconsin and Michigan State did in the past 20 years.Louisville radio is blowing up today-as expected. One station had a good point, they felt Jeff is similar to when Urban was at Utah (pushing the local connections aside). You just know he's going to blow up at some point, have to agree. Just have this feeling with a few more key commitments, Purdue will competing on a level we haven't seen in a long time.
