extremely hard to get. Would you rather have life-time tickets to the Masters or life-time tickets to Purdue basketball.

My neighbor has tickets to the Masters and listening to him talk about it when he gets home, and watching it on TV....tough choice, or not a tough choice?

I would like to walk Augusta once. After that one time I would be done. Give me the PU tickets for life.
My thoughts exactly, do it once for the experience and then find better things to do with your time. But I only play golf 1-2 times per year, and I never watch it on TV, so that tells you where it rates on my list of priorities.

Are we allowed to sell the hypothetical tickets? Personally, I'd go with the basketball tickets due to distance and that I can get better coverage of golf on TV than in person. It's a total crap shoot for decent commentary on big ten basketball.

I'm like you....though I'd love to play the course, I would be happy just walking it. My neighbor is an avid golfer...plays almost every day, and he says the natural beauty of August is stunning.

He said homes rent rent in excess of six figures for the tournament.

Actually did it once several years ago with friends who had a couple of extra tickets. The most beautiful Course I have seen. Great experience for the excitement but you see so very much more from TV.....I'll take the Purdue tickets for the long term.

Today might be the best "battle" I've seen in a long time. Glad to see Sergio finally get one.

Had the opportunity to attend The Masters last year...unbelievable experience. The absolute beauty of the course (walking on the grass is like walking on carpet), the feeling of the history and tradition there, and it is amazing to be at a sporting event with a crowd that big that are so respectful and well behaved (no trash on the ground, no drunk idiots cursing and fighting like an NFL game) and the cleanest restrooms you've ever seen. Not to mention the opportunity to have a famous pimento cheese sandwich, sweet tea, and a Georgia peach ice cream sandwich (two sugar cookies with peach ice cream between) all for just $5. Did I mention no cell phones allowed? I highly recommend going to Augusta at least once just for the experience.

You would have to pay me to go to the Masters. I'll take the Purdue tickets and there could not be a much larger gap between the two for me. I enjoy watching Purdue basketball. I couldn't care less about watching other people play golf.

Watching the Masters is actually only something a decent golfer can appreciate, and while you are actually there in person, you only see a very small part of it, best to watch on TV.

I know plenty of bad golfers who love it.
