Wouldn't make sense would it...but it has happened before if you can recall the name Shawn Kemp. Historically the Indy media gets a lot more pull than the northern and southern parts of the state. I think Romeo gets it...especially if he goes to IU and because there is much more publicity today from a variety of sources. That said...how could Shawn Kemp not get it?

A lot has changed since Kemp in terms of the amount of exposure that prospects get throughout the state, regardless of where they are from within the state. When there is a nationally ranked recruit, everyone knows it. I don’t think that it really matters whether or not Langford chooses IU; he will win in a landslide.

That is why I said there is much more publicity today from a variety of sources. Course if you make the IU newspaper guys and gals mad...who knows? Still, I think he wins by a few lengths...

Don't they take into account what happens during their senior year. I mean the first ball hasn't been put in the basket yet and you're giving him the award. Maybe Hunter blows up this year. Who knows?

Hunter could blow up, but playing in 1A compared to 4A will be a big issue to many voters...Barring injury, I think its Romeo's to lose.

Hunter will be great for Purdue, but remember we are dealing with the media and they probably already know who they are voting for...
