Love that he has a routine....and it's his routine....unique, yes....but absolutely repeatable. That helps focus and allows him to relax and rely upon it in crunch time. It's a similar mindset for success under pressure in several sports.

Of course, you still need the technique, talent, and cajones.....which he has.

If I recall correctly, Maryland lost in the same manner against Nebraska. They didn't score in the last 5-6 minutes and Nebraska closed it out on a 15-0 run. So Maryland has to be playing the what if game if, then again, how many have they won in the last few seconds in the road.

Very ironic commentary from Turgeon. We won the game at the foul line and we didn't "earn it" (the win). They didn't make a FG in the last 7 and a half minutes...all MD scoring came on FT's. By his definition, they didn't earn the right to even be in the game at all in the end. Perception is reality. You live at the line, yet box your opponent in with qualifications like that? Unreal. As far as Carsen and his routine? I love it as much as I loved Cardinal and the odd looking nose wipe. LOL

You have to give him a little slack....he had to be a little winded/light-headed after all of that moving back and forth onto the floor....five steps here.....twenty-five steps there.....starts adding up over two plus hours.
