Seattle buys three new apartment buildings to help house people experiencing homelessness

Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan announced Monday that the city has purchased three new apartment complexes on Capitol Hill to be rented to people who are currently or formerly homeless. The city says the buildings have room for 165 people, including unsheltered veterans and young adults living outside.

The suggestion that some guy who was in the Army or Navy or USAF for 4 years was converted into a dysfunctional zombie by that experience is complete bullshit. The military services recruit a lot of people who are losers. Their military service didn't make them losers, they were losers from Day One.

You're entitled to your opinion, I'm entitled to mine. The fact that you're a veteran doesn't make you anymore right......... especially when you make a general statement about people you don't even know being losers.

The attrition rate for enlistees in the Army is now 40%. Of the kids that the Army recruits out of high school, 40% do not make through their 4-year enlistment without dropping out. Many of them are so-called female soldiers.

Whatever their reason is for homelessness, if the government is going to waste money, I’d rather have them ware it on homeless US citizens then on illegal aliens or sending money to the Taliban leadership.
