hmmmm interesting:

Of course he should dominate as the video shows, but one thing that stands out is the he can dribble efficiently. Something you never really saw jujuan johnson do. He looks to maybe have the same potential if he can shoot which isn't apparent here.

Understand it is a highlight video, but if he really is 6'10" with those handles, footwork, and athleticism I am surprised he is only a 2 star. Simply unknown? Terrible defense? Off the court/classroom issues keeping recruiters away? Small school competition?

He looks slow and doesn't have a lot of bouncw
I agree with half of that......

If you watch the video he runs the floor well, but I agree he doesn't have a lot of bounce.....he will need to work on that at the D-1 level or he will get owned in the post.

He does seem to be able to finish well though.....pulls up and squares up and uses backboard well.

Seems to have good hands and runs well.....but the bounce is lacking as you said.

I think our staff could do wonders with him.....

Boiler Up!

Long, athletic kids CAN get good if they're coachable. (Witness JJ, who wasn't bad when he got here but got much better.) We have had a few of the other kind too ...

Wasn't JJ a Top 100 or 150 recruit?
I only watched a little of the highlight video but he looked like he was playing against a team with all 5'8 white guys. Looked like my fraternity team that used to run at the corec.

Ondigo's ranking will go up. He recently had some strong performances in front of several coaches and has received a number of offers in the last week or so.

Pretty sure he was in the 50s.

(most of what I was saying was dripping with sarcasm.....)

No, I see color just fine. But in general, 5'8 white guys usually aren't too successful on the basketball court.

Ondigo has played 4 years of high school ball and graduated high school already. Reportedly planning to prep this season.

When looking at videos, he also has a nice club teammate who looks to be a more defensive minded in 3-star Nigel Shadd. Much stronger and more athletic. 6-9 with 7-3 wingspan. Here is his video.

He's got some bounce. And hang time.

That is your problem. Take off your David Duke T-shirt and try opening your eyes for once.

What's wrong...did I offend your delicate sensibilities because I mentioned a black guy or white guy?
Just for the record, I personally believe that on average, blacks are better athletes that whites when you're comparing sports that require fast twitch muscles and explosion moves (basketball, football skilled positions, etc). I think most D1 football and Bball coaches would agree (although they can't say so publically because that wouldn't be politically correct and the special snowflakes would get offended).
Again, it's just my opinion, not sure if proven by science or not......
