"I don't know if it's a culture thing or just how these guys are, but he was really honest with me and said, 'Man, I really didn't think I'd end up in Indiana,'" Hill said of Octeus. "He said he was looking forward to going to UCLA, but when that didn't work out, Purdue came on and he got here and really loved the coaches. He said, 'Man, I was so glad it happened because it was a blessing in disguise' because he was able to go to the Tournament again and be around guys that he liked in a culture that was easy for him to adapt to."
