Hilarious photo, had

Well done meme meister!

Y'know, people talk about Ryan needing to bulk up in the weight room, but he looks pretty wiry strong.

He has narrow shoulders, and from a shooting physics perspective I think that could sort of help with quickly getting his shooting arm pointed straight at the middle of the rim. Sort of like how Michael Phelps long torso and short legs help him with the physics of swimming.

This. And Stephen Curry, Rick Mount, and Reggie Miller were never known for their bulk.

Interesting, but NEVER should the arm be straight up and down as that locks the shoulder even thought people say "arm straight". There should be a "slight angle" outward with the elbow from the side and not directly below the ball. Easiest understanding is to bring your right thumb over right eye for right handed shooters, but your point is very interesting and something I never really considered before as the shoulder width does in fact decrease the error of the elbow out too much like a large hand makes it more difficult to shoot. I like the perspective even if it is something that couldn't be changed...it does offer a potential explanation with all things equal for discussion... :)
