Historical returns tell me help is on the way for retirement accounts. Since 1946 stock returns have averaged....

11.3% w/ R control the Senate (compared to 6.3% for D control)

10.7% w/ R control of the House (compared to 7% for D control)

One or more of the above will happen next Tuesday so in late 2023, & definitely by 2024 things are looking up!

I haven’t put any new money in the market this year, just been stockpiling it. Thinking about putting some of it in an S&P 500 ETF, maybe get a bump next week.

Given the above returns, it is very costly to vote D for Congress....for everyone. Hope it gets turned around soon.

Can't imagine voting D for Congress or Senate if you have any IRA or retirement accounts. Costly!!
