On what ground can the President declassify documents just by thinking about it?

So there are now millions of already declassified documents that are still labeled classified, just because no one else knows that they have already been declassified in the President's head?

You have Boilermaker03 thinking there’s a YouTube video that explains how Trump can magically do that, but the rest of the usual suspects haven’t tried touching it with a ten foot pole.

There ain’t no grounds that a president can just think it and it is de-classified. He can de-classify it but there is still a procedure to do. One is redacting sensitive areas in the document. Chumptown can’t get that through their Flav-Or-Aid logged brains.

“Biden’s mind is fine” you said. Why would anybody take you seriously after a statement like that?

Hats off to Trump for driving people insane enough to be posting about him on here every single day 😂😂😂

Duh, I haven't been posting anything about Trump for WEEKS.

But when he said something that totally makes no sense, instead of just jumping to ridicule, I'd like to hear from his sympathizers to see if there's an explanation that I might be missing. I guess you don't understand how to be open-minded.

Your meaningless deflection and the silence here from the usual Trumpsters answer my questions loud and clear.

Thank you.

I didn’t see what he said. What did he say?

You’re welcome.

Chuck pig on his eternal quest for kum ba ya and trying to seem so innate and all the while being a liberal prick. Did Charles hit a reset to his social experiment days and his children or just come back as Charlespig?

It hit me like a rock and put me in a fetal position for three days slobbering all over myself. Wife kept trying to get me to eat a meal, but I was to upset. I was willing to eat some pudding, but the wife said, “How can you have any pudding if you don’t eat your meat?” I reminded her, “ How can you declassify if you don’t dot your I’s and cross your t’s?” The job is not done until the paperwork is done! The frustration I felt started a raging fire inside.

Had I paid attention to the first mean tweet I could have seen this coming. Instead, I was asleep at the wheel paying attention to trivial things of insignificance like sleeping with Chinese spies, the laptop, Hunter not paying the Big guy hopeful his dementia won’t notice, wondering what is going on with the investigation into who killed Epstein and what have we learned from Ghislaine Maxwell. Before the declassification fiasco I was concerned with the politicization of the FBI heads, packing the courts, Garlands attack on parents, CRT, 401’s, inflation, tax increases, women assigned positions because they were women, but nobody could explain what a woman was. I even wondered if the IRS would “again” be politicized to go after opposition when the Big guy wanted to recruit an army of 87,000 more government employees to do his will. Even the open borders distracted me from focusing on finishing the paperwork. Oh well, I did lose some weight from not eating, but I’ll bet that if I would have watched the January 6 insurrection production I wouldn’t have been so shocked.

That’s cute. I’m guessing our intel agencies take this a little more seriously.

Since you didn’t actually talk about the topic in yet another one of your novels, do you think trump can declassify simply by thinking about it?

I can't speak for anyone else but I post on here and other places daily about Trump because I love democracy and freedom. I truly believe that 45 and his movement is the single greatest threat we've faced as a country since the civil war. I'm going to beg, plead or shame people to wake up and see that this life long con man and criminal is unfit to be president again.

Trump is unfit to be President again. January 6th was an absolute tragedy/travesty.

Biden is unfit to be President right now or in the future. He has diminished cognitive capability. Hardcore Progressives are as large a threat to American democracy and our Republic because they want to eliminate our way of governance completely. They truly want a socialist dictatorship and want to foist their cynical, calamitous policies on the American people. They want a world government and to take control of our nation away from our nation and give it to bureaucrats and judges in far away places.

Whew, the projection here is really quite something.

What do YOU think the desired endgame is for wing nuts like AOC, Tlaib, Cori Bush, Senator Warren, Bernie Sanders………?????
They are not in charge. They are barely relevant in their party.

I get the socialist thing. I don’t agree that’s their intent but at least the progressive agenda has some similarities if you choose to see it that way.
But the dictatorship accusation is pure projection. Both parties want to be in control, but only one side is taking clear steps toward authoritarianism. Only one side is trying control people’s private lives. Only one side took clear action to stay in power and nullify an election. Only one side has a leader that, by his own words, thinks he can do anything he wants as president.

I'd listen to their own words and see they'd prefer a Nordic model of capitalism with a strong social benefit safety net. Talk of a dictatorship or having a world government take over the US is just simply insane.

And to tack on to what Bob said, the Republican party is propping up election deniers to run for governor, etc. These folks have made it clear they think they can do whatever they want.

Should I bring up the national abortion ban to go along with the abortion bans already in effect? Talk about dictatorial. You're right, SD, nothing says 'we aren't dictators' like a bunch of Republicans having control of a woman's body.

You used to be able to think for yourself. What happened?

What are you watching? Biden is trying to legislate with EOs. Let’s wipe out billions in student loan debt with the swipe of a pen. (He doesn’t control the purse strings - Congress does). EOs about illegal immigration. Taking power away from CBP agents - making porous borders even worse. What’s the total now this year? 2.5M illegals? He and his administration have done nothing to fix this situation. His idiotic policies encourage more illegal immigration.

Biden is trying to kill our gas, oil, and coal industries and foist the green revolution on the country. There are so many examples that you just gloss over and act as if they don’t exist, all the while ranting about a narcissistic man who isn’t even in office or running in this cycle.

No, those representatives and Senators espouse policies that are truly insane.

They espouse a lot of policies that developed nations all over the world have implemented to success. Perhaps you can point out where they want to turn over the US over to a world government?

Why should the US follow policies that smaller, less-important, less diverse countries implement? We are a superpower. Using a Scandinavian economic model is insane considering the size and make-up of those countries. Just because something seems to work for them (it’s ironic because they are actually becoming more like us all the time), doesn’t mean it could or should work here.

Actually DNC spent at last count 55 million in Republican primaries to defeat Republican centrists. A fact some brag about (you know, election meddling). E.g Boudac in NH had very little money and the ads against Morse where PAC ads paid for by Democratic groups. Sununu endorsed Morse. Morse lost very narrowly. Without outside left wing money Boudac would barely get an ad out. And Morse would beat Hassan by 3-5%. Now she probably keeps her D senate seat.

So if these deniers and Trumpers are the biggest threat to our country. Why even get then even close to power? Why did your party spend over 50 million to elect the most dangerous candidates running?

You're right, they have done that. And I don't like the strategy, but it was done in the hopes that folks who are so 'out there' would win the primaries so it will make a clearer path for the Dem candidate. Before Trump was elected, I would have thought this was a good strategy, but it's risky at best.

The flip side to that, of course, is that those Republican candidates even get that far in the first place. That's extremely concerning, no?

Because the dems thought the whacked MAGA candidates were easier to beat. It’s obvious. It’s been talked about to death in the media.

It’s a stupid policy that will backfire in some races. But to imply that the dems want these people in power……….or whatever your argument it because you’re making no sense……..is ludicrous.

It’s a dangerous policy and a horrible precedent. If I were a democratic donor I would be outraged.

Why not? It's not like the US is #1 in all of the metrics. Why not explore what works in other countries vs what's not working here?

Yeah, the Progressives just love social engineering experiments, if it benefits them and their horrible policies….If this country is so bad why do some many people risk their lives to come here illegally?

Sounds like party before country. And yes it’s concerning. It’s concerning that an opposition party has such bad ideas that their only hope is to get a toxic candidate elected. Do you how much 1 million in ad buys and mailers does in a congressional race? Why not have Hassan face Morse and debate her votes and positions against true conservative from an established candidate? Because you know your ideas would lose.

But this is just an extension of long time Democratic playbook of straw candidates to elect machine pols. E.g how did Madigan continue to win in a heavy Hispanic district? He would pay Hispanics to run to dilute the Hispanic vote and talk bad about the other Hispanics. And congrats to the destruction of Illinois. But Maddow don’t teach you history does she?

Party over country. Be worried about people who know their ideas and accomplishments can’t win.

Love how conservatives always bring up the diversity angle. As if the right wing's intolerance toward minorities is a legitimate reason not to implement strong safety net policies. Regardless, there's a discussion to be had about how far to go on a safety net, that's very different than your claim that the goal is to implement a dictatorship and/or turn the US over to a world government authority.

I have an idea: why don't you move to one of these utopian society countries that you describe, live there for 10 years, move back to the US and write us a book report about your experience.

What does it say for the party that actually nominates the toxic candidate? The republican base is the issue.
