I am speechless how much of a disaster Hazell and his poor coaching staff has been over the last 4 years. To put this absolutely putrid 4 years into perspective is hard to do in the english language. Deplorable performance. Absolutely deplorable.
In 4 seasons only 1 win against a big ten team at home. One single home win against a big ten school IN FOUR COMPLETE SEASONS. The home record against big ten competition is thus 1-15. A roughly 6% winning percentage at home against big ten competition. Only two big ten programs were ever defeated, Illinois and Nebraska. 2 out of a possible 13 teams were beat in 4 years. 85% of the possible big ten competitors were NEVER beaten a single time. A ZERO winning percentage against IU going 0-4. A total of 3-29 against big ten competition. A 9% combined winning percentage in conference for the Hazell coaching staff. A 9% winning percentage. A 9% WINNING PERCENTAGE. A ZERO winning percentage against Notre Dame. A total of 9 wins out of 48 games. A total winning percentage of 18% with 37% winning percentage out of conference. 22% of Purdue's wins over the last 4 years came against Indiana State. ZERO wins against any power 5 conference school out of conference. When you take out Indiana State Purdue's total winning percentage under Hazell is 15%. 7 total home wins out of 9 wins overall. Only two games were ever won on the road, both of those against Illinois. In 4 years in 24 road games only 2 wins against a single school. A winning percentage outside of Purdue's falling apart stadium badly in need of repairs of 8%.
In conference:
2013: 1-11 (ZERO big ten wins)
2014: 3-9 (One win in big ten - Illinois)
2015: 2-10 (One win in big ten - Nebraska)
2016: 3-9 (One win in big ten - Illinois)
Out of conference:
2013: 1-3 (Only win came against Indiana State)
2014: 2-4 (Wins against Southern Illinois and Western Michigan)
2015: 1-3 (Only win came against Indiana State)
2016: 2-4 (wins against stupid licker teams)
