Has painter answered why no Morton at the 1?

Seen lots of posts about and it seems pretty obvious as a potential solution to our PG problem. But curious if painter has weighed in on it…like has he said why he doesn’t want to do that? Is it a defense thing? Doesn’t think Morton can press opposing pgs like IT/EH can?
