Geeez, Kruger makes NO adjustment at all, 22 - 0 run. Embarrassing. He must not think Defense is worth anything. His guys were totally unprepared. With THAT talent. He let them down.

Maybe his kids are tired from playing in all those previous 4 tournament games

Probably, wait, how many games did 'Nova play? And double geez, he only got his first team all-american 8 shots. What the hell was he doing ... he should have made sure his team got Hield a shot at least every other time down the floor. How can you win when your best player doesn't get the ball? Everyone knows Kruger should have them running double screens for baseline curls and posting Hield down low, then bringing him up off an elbow screen. This is NOT a difficult game.

Seems to be difficult for some coaches that get out coached in the first round.

So you include Izzo, both Millers and Beilein in that group?
Villanova is a good example for the returning Boilers to look at. They hadn't made it out of the first weekend for 6 years in a row, despite going 16-2 in the Big East for the two seasons prior to this one. Once again, they were 16-2 this season, but this time they got hot and are entering the final game playing dominant basketball. It would be easy to look at their previous tournaments and think that there was something wrong with the coach or the players, but the truth is, in my opinion, that they were much closer to having a successful tournament than they appeared. This year, their perseverance is finally paying off.

truth in what you said...but Purdue was playing pretty well until...roll the dice today and even keep the same format and the results are different...
