IU fans have always considered their university to be the Indiana “State” school, and we were always the little brother. Well, I think times are changing, and the tables have turned.

They have not beaten us in basketball since 2016. This will be the 3 year in a row that they have not made the NCAA tournament, unless they win the BT Tournament ( yeah, that is going to happen).

We have won the last 2 in football, and there is no way that they will beat us in Ross Ade this year. I would say as long as we have Brohm as our coach they won’t beat us in football.

I hope they keep Allen and Miller as long as they can. They could beat us in soccer, so they do have that I guess.

IU became little brother when John Purdue stuck his shovel into the West Lafayette earth.

Common question from people outside of Indiana; where is Purdue?

You’ll always be little brother, until you change your name to Indiana Tech maybe

You probably should go back to the drive thru. People are no doubt waiting for you to serve them their lunch. When is the last time Purdue lost to little sister u anyway?

Oh man another good one, drive thru!

Been a while you guys have a way better team

But your still the little brother school

We dominate them in both football and basketball, so yes IU is little brother and they ought to get used to it - I don't see it changing anytime soon! Heck if IU isn't careful they might end up in last place in the Big Ten in basketball before it is all said and done! That ought to help their recruiting! ;)

Yes, I knew it wouldn’t take 5 minutes to bring up Neil Armstrong lol
Which is 4.5 minutes longer than it takes you loosiers to bring up banners. Sorry, ours is just higher than yours.

Now, work on your responses. You will need to massively improve just to be considered weak.

You brought up banners

I think they should be taken down until we earn something

Congratulations on the win

Nobody outside of Indiana knows where you guys even are
You might want to take a visit to Austin, Phoenix, Seattle, San Jose, Denver, Boise, any of the hottest growth areas where innovation and creative intelligence are valued ... if they don't know where Purdue is, They will normally guess in the Ivy League area.

actually, dumb people don't know and those people were not meant for Purdue anyway. Purdue and IU were never meant for competition, but were always meant to be complimentary in nature. That is why IU has a better music department.

Ohhh good one

Your certainly the better basketball program right now, but as a school, you will always be viewed as little brother
As a school? You do know you are talking about the school that sent men to the moon, built the Hoover Dam and Golden Gate Bridge, is home to three of the world's best supercomputers, has created 25 startups (B1G average is 6 btw), and ranks fourth among public universities in the US (Wall Street Journal)?

Yeah, obviously will always be behind educationally to a glorified liberal arts college (and that's a comment coming from a liberal arts major at Purdue)

You guys are the ag school, you know farmersonly.com is full of relatives

It’s why they advertise soybean additives during your games

But Neil Armstrong
Ag School....you know, the stuff our school develops feeds the world and drives innovation in what will be the most key industry moving forward as our population continues to boom and arable land becomes more and more scarce....

But tell me again about being an Ag School....

I have an ag degree, had 6 semesters of chemistry, several biology classes. Believe me there are no dummies in ag. You need to google Purdue and see how high we rank for academics. Last I looked our business school ranks higher than Kelly school of business.

Within your circle, that's probably true. If you want some advice, find smarter friends (I understand you can't do anything about your family).

I'm sure they probably don't know what the capital of Wyoming is either. That doesn't speak poorly of the fine city of Cheyenne...it just means they lack knowledge.

Do they know where Duke is? How about Wake Forest? Vanderbilt? Cornell? Yale? How about Northwestern? Ooohhhh...tricky one there! I'll give you a hint: It's not Seattle.

Ignorance is a bad look. If you want to go at Purdue fans, telling us your people are stupid isn't the best approach. It's OK though. If you don't know where Purdue is, chances are good you'll never need to.

You just live in west Lafayette, where you all crank each other

The only people that care about Purdue are Purdue people

The constant little brother your school will always be
I worked in the Aerospace Industry for 36 years and I guarantee you those companies knew where Purdue was when they are looking for engineers to hire.

Having lived in the East, the South, and Kansas I can tell you no one knows where your favorite football team the ND Fighting Irish is located. It is amazing how often the casual ND fan has no idea that South Bend is in Indiana.

Also, outside of Indiana, no one.....and I mean no one takes IU basketball seriously anymore.
