Not a far fetched thought. He is known to be able to make quick improvements, then plateau and wear out his welcome. IMHO, being the only B1G conference team to not win this bowl season won’t sit well with their fan base and alums. Michigan blew a lead & lost to a team that is not a perennial SEC team. Not good for him.

I'd imagine that after the last few years at Michigan, some of the luster of Harbaugh as a coach has worn off.
