Was at the Rock Suppan game as a kid with my dad. IIRC, he had 2 FGs and 2 INTs, didn’t he? Or a pick and fumble recovery? He was the SI National Player of the Week for that game in ‘76.
If only 55k were in the stands, it was a loud 55k. I recall on a few occasions with UM driving into the North End Zone, Rick Leach approaching the line saying he couldn’t hear.
