A different angle of his highlights. What I thought was even better is that he was still the biggest cheerleader on the bench.
curious - who were the other three on the floor with them?My favorite part was in the 2nd half & Isaac thought Haarms was subbing in for him, then was pleasantly surprised that he and Haarms would play together. As they lined up on the block for a FT, they looked at each other, laughed, and walked across the lane for a "five". Nice to see the two excited to play together, and given Haarms mobility/skill, I'm sure it will happen more moving forward.
What I saw is that Haarms is an incredible team mate. I sat 6 rows behind the bench and Haarms was quick with the compliments and encouragements, listened to the upperclassmen when they were coaching him, and was just as happy going in to the game as he was coming out.My favorite part was in the 2nd half & Isaac thought Haarms was subbing in for him, then was pleasantly surprised that he and Haarms would play together. Ha Ha...nobody noticed. Actually, I'm pretty sure it was Nojel and for a few seconds Ewing (he had to get in and had 3 minutes with the Haarms and Haas around 5 minutes to go) adn maybe Grady...not sure about otherscurious - who were the other three on the floor with them?
really looked for his shot more as time went on...but you could see he got a bit winded as well. What I saw is that Haarms is an incredible team mate. The biggest thing I saw is the comfort level that Haarms showed after playing in the first to the second half. He appeared to just relax as the game went on and settled in to the flow of the game nicely.
I know what you are saying...and maybe wouldn't use the word character, but the team first unity is great sinceSince the 3 Johnsons moved on, I'm really pleased with the character of the players wearing Purdue on their jerseys. Haarms and Eastern look to continue that trend.

I've heard the same thing and that is why "character" may not be the most accurate verbiage ...in my eyes.Terone was a solid dude, great leader, and gave his all for Purdue. I hear you about Ronnie, but equating Terone's character with his brother's really isn't fair. Terone was a solid role player/sixth man that was forced to carry the team due to poor recruiting and departures.

I wonder if his targeting has changed...or the budget increase has opened a wider window where he has a lot more to pick from and offerThat being said, I think Painter has learned a lot in the few years since then and has done a great job of targeting the right guys to come to the school. Really optimistic about what next year's class will bring to the program.

Yeah those couple of recruiting classes really screwed us. I think Painter realized his mistakes and has really evolved this program in terms of consistent recruiting. When have we ever had the depth we have now while also being able to redshirt two very talented players? Kudos to Painter and staff, this is how you build a blue blood program. Haas put Happ in his place that game. Loved it.
