First, hats of to Northwestern....played a great game. Cline finally showed up. Refs were not good....I thought the elbow to Carsen was a no brainer and PJ fouling at the end with no call was poor. Haas and Haarms were huge, no pun intended. Great game to watch.

Well said. How about not giving Cline the TO under the basket? Even CMP said he couldn't believe it!

TBH, although I initially thought he got the timeout, on the closeup replay it looked like the NW guy grabbed the ball before RC got the timeout motion made (he was just clutching it with both hands before).

There was also the clock error in the last minute. It seems like the operator probably thought Purdue got the steal & turned off the shot clock and momentarily stopped the game clock. I think Northwestern ended up hitting the rim before the shot clock would have expired, and the game clock was stopped for maybe 1 second at most, but the scorer should have alerted the refs to get it all sorted out.

Good to see Cline get out of his slump. He's going to be critical to this team. Teams are going to really start clamping down on Mathias as much as they can.
