Guestimates on who will be captains?

Who do you think will be voted captains?

I think it could be many different players as many are deserving....but think it will come down to experience:

Smotherman
McKeeman
Albrecht-possibly

PJ, Mathias, Biggie and V. Edwards also could be a possibility based on the leadership skills they have even though they lead by their play and not vocal.

I am excited to see Taylor and Smotherman and C. Edwards energy off the bench this year.....that 3 some dictates our season with efforts.

Doubt it will be Smotherman, given his off-season arrest. Have been told Thompson is the team leader....whether that means captain, I don't know.

Just Being an upperclassmen doesn't necessarily translate to being a captain for painter I don't think (e.g. Kramer as a sophomore)

I. Think we can confidently say none of the above. Smotherman had the arrest issue, McKeeman is a former walk-on who won't play much and Spike is new to the program.

I would guess Vince is a lock and I think PJ has a great shot as the likely starting PG. Haas, Mathias and Biggie are all possibilities as well as all. Have great work ethic and are likely starters and well respected.

I think Haas is a natural leader on that team. It is likely PJ and Haas, with Vince as the alternative if not PJ.

Disagree with part of your statement:

I feel McKeeman knows the system more than any of them and is a quiet leader and good example of hard work and deserving to be a captain.....he doesn't need to start or be on the floor to be one.

I agree Smotherman may have hurt his chances with his arrest, but kids are kids and I am sure he has learned from it.....he knows the system as well and I see him being rewarded possibly as captain.

PJ, Spike, Biggie, Haas and VE are the others I think may also get voted captain.
