Guard Brooke Moore, transfer from Auburn, is immediately eligible as a Junior

Any guesses on a first game starting lineup? With Karissa out I'm happy that Moore is eligible. Purdue should go about 10 deep, just not sure they have any all league type players to lead them to better than a middle of the pack season.

Finally a little good news on the women's side of things. With all the changes this could be a "kardiac kids" type of year with different players(hopefully) stepping up throughout the season. Maybe "Gritty Gals" would be a better term - hard for me to tell which isn't politically incorrect :) , I just want to root for a group of ladies who play hard and find ways to win.

I don’t follow the women as closely as I should- and it’s somewhat hard to do with how hard it is to find good info compared to the men- but don’t we have a 5* 6’6” freshman?

I think you are referring to Ra Shaya Kyle. Yes, she is 6'6" and a few services had her rated 5* but I do not think that is a general consensus. But ESPN HoopGurlz had this description: "Five-star athlete, No. 5 center in the nation, No. 36 overall player and a rating of 97 by ESPN HoopGurlz."

I'd start Farqhar, Traylor, Layden, and Kyle. My whole focus for this season would be to develop a team for next season and I think the best way to do that is get Layden and Kyle on the floor as much as possible.

Yeah I agree... I'd start

Woltman - PF 6'4
Farquhar - SF 6'0
Kyle - C 6'6
Layden - SG 6'1
Traylor - PG 5'9

That's a really tall lineup... Some really good height.

Off the bench

Jenelle Grant, PF/SF
Nyagoa Gony, PF
Fatou Diagne, C
Roxane Makolo, SG/PG
Cassidy Hardin, SG
Bria Harmon (will play a lot imho) PG
Brooke Moore (will also play a lot) PG/SG

They will go 12 deep imho... Very deep and flexible team this season.
