This was a fantastic win. Bigger than the haters will say, but at least the forum will be quite for a while.
Quite quiet for the queens whose quacking will go unrequited.quite what?
Loved CS's energy as always. Nice to see Cline being aggressive, and great to get that performance from Haas. Big win!
Annnnnnd .... Painter sat CE ..
Favorite play was the fast break pass to the Wisky player too far under the basket and Biggie was first Boiler down the court to disrupt the basket. He had 8 TOs but man did he work hard.
Carsen had a couple of nice pull up jumpers but Dakota had a couple of baskets where he created his own shot too. And after 3 TOs in 1st half, Dakota had only one in 2nd and made nice passes. 7 assists think.
I'm worried about Carsen's me 1st mentality. He has the talent to make his teammates better but he too often tries to do it on his own. He needs to trust the talent around him. Not like HS when he had too. I liked how Biggie talked to him going down the court after his one bonehead play. But Carsen didn't look happy on the bench later on.
and we needed good perimeter defense. Carsen was not good early on D.Yep, good move. Cline was on fiyah.

I love CE, I'm just a little worried that he not lose confidence and or gets down when he has pine time like tonight. It's got to be hard to come from scoring 30 a game and playing every minute of meaningful time to getting sat. I'm glad CMP did it because it was the right move tonight, just want CE to keep his head in it.This is all part of the learning process for Carsen Edwards. He's struggling a little, but I still think he'll win a game or two down the stretch. Big time defense is a lot different, and I think he's finding that out.
Kudos to Ryan Cline as others have pointed out.....hung in there on D, got some boards and loose balls and knocked down some shots to keep the Boilers a working margin.
Ryan has added some driving the ball the last two games as he used to do in high school. he is about 6'5" or so and it is great to see him make them play him honestCline and Mathias are not just spot up shooters anymore.........more well rounded. Hell, Cline had some decent quickness in this game IMO.......I said decent LOL

He did and wisely. Carsen may have just found out that playing against senior guards takes away many of the opportunities his athleticism normally affords him. A good lesson to learn while still beating #13.Annnnnnd .... Painter sat CE ..
