Although not the first state & many schools have already done this....NY Dem Gov pushes for phone restrictions for kids. Good first step. Probably doesn't go far enough. But cell phone apps are one of the most destructive things youth can pursue. Notice it says nothing about smart watches. Anyway, no doubt court fights are coming....

But got to say.....I'm impressed.

A policy where Republicans led in Florida, and Dems also agree and follow elsewhere. Just great policy to protect kids. LA & a few other CA schools already have so .glad he is following their lead....alot of schools have varrying policies on phone usage @ school.
