Better imho. He has put Purdue in 3 winnable games and CJB found ways to lose to Rutgers and NEB. WI was the other and that is a tall task yet we were in it till the end for the most part.We need to keep him at all cost. He’s as good as Brohm. Maybe better.
eh...i remember the d losing the neb game. still like holt though. he has worked wonders.Better imho. He has put Purdue in 3 winnable games and CJB found ways to lose to Rutgers and NEB. WI was the other and that is a tall task yet we were in it till the end for the most part.
Totally agree but there is a poster on Knucklehead who says he should be fired for how bad a job he has done. Lol.We need to keep him at all cost. He’s as good as Brohm. Maybe better.
Well if you pay $10 a month for stuff that shows up on Twitter the second it's posted here, you're clearly qualified to make such statements.Totally agree but there is a poster on Knucklehead who says he should be fired for how bad a job he has done. Lol.
I see he put Cason at DB after a while in game
You could be right, I just remember reading after the game that when Hunte went downwe're playing Kamal Hardy and without playing to prevent there is a more than likely chance that he would get burned very quickly. Hence the offense going directly at him play after play. At least by playing the preevent we had a chance. No depth equaled exhausted players trying to cover ground in a zone.Offense lost it with no balls going for it on 4th and three yards, but I agree prevent defense stunk. Needed more pressure on QB (Lee) in the last 50 yards of the field. No excuse.
Purdue is giving up 18.9 ppg this season after giving up 38 per game last year. And they've done it despite injuries to key players and with little depth.
Yesterday was the fewest points Purdue has given up on a B1G game since 2007.
Sure, there could be a more consistent pass rush, and the secondary is being held together by duct tape, but the overall effort has been exceptional.
