Terribly unfortunate....hate seeing anyone injured; and that was one of the worst I have seen in a while. Best wishes for him to fully heal and recover and get back out on the court. I wouldn't think he'd be back this season.
Didn't see it yet (may not want to), but preliminary report is the ankle was set in the arena's medical facility & may be able to return before the playoffs.
Watching Haywood injury hurt my heart just brought back memories of my son injury.Dislocated ankle and a fractured tibia. Apparently no ligament damage, which is great news. However, I would be very surprised if he were to return for any portion of the 17-18 season. Nobody's beating the Cavs in the east this year, and LeBron very well may pack his bags once again in 2018. C's could be the "best" team in the East a year from now by default.
Terrible injury. Just feel sorry for him (thankfully he's signed his big contract before the season). It also made me wonder what would have been for Robbie Hummel if he didn't tear his ACL or hurt his back. I thought in high school Rob was the better player.
I am not a doctor but I don't see how there is no ligament damage. His foot was a long way from where it should have been.Dislocated ankle and a fractured tibia.
