I saw good coaching moves by both benches through the game. Turgeon and Painter were matched up pretty well. Maryland has enough size and beef along the front line that we just can’t dominate them. In fact I thought they played our front court to a draw. Thank goodness we were able to hit a number of 3-pt shots using those damned UA balls. I think our guards out shot theirs outside the arch by a considerable amount.
Maryland played an excellent game. I actually loved Tremble’s game when he is driving and passing. I hate it when he hogs the ball and pulls the fake-a-foul jerk around. I think his coach should have him running stairs for not running the offense as they ran in the first half. He is just too full of himself.
However, this was a great game overall, and fun to watch.
