Going to Pitt?

I am driving from Indy tomorrow to attend the game. Though my first born is a Freshman at Pitt, I have only been their once and don't know much about the area. My daughter plans to give me a mini tour though, so I will be prepared when we play them again in the next 38 years!
Surely you've heard of Primanti Brothers? That's a favorite for locals and visitors. You should grab dinner and a pint there before the game.
Two of my buddies and I are heading to Pitt around 1pm tomorrow! Really excited for the game and the city, always wanted to visit. We plan to hit up the campus scene afterwards and see what it has to offer. Let's hope we win!

Our family invaded Pittsburgh en masse last summer. Great city! We highly recommend riding the Duquesne Incline (open until 12:45 a.m.) to the row of restaurants with awesome views overlooking the city. Downtown is loaded, too. Check out The Point. Give our regards to The Tower.

How is the campus bar scene? Any place worth checking out before or after the game? Or do they close early there? Thanks in advance!
If you're college aged, or just young in general, you will need to go to the East Carson St area. There are so many, just walk around and bar crawl. Don't even mess around with downtown or the strip if you're young.
Hemingways or Peters Pub are really the only two bars worth going to on campus. Food is better at Hemingways.
