There were at least 8 cops and a few mean looking dogs guarding each goalpost. Sad, because I’ve been hoping to at least try to tear them down for the last 4 years.

Thought I read somewhere that the posts were beefed up compared to the “old days” and were virtually indestructible. Thick enough steel tubing and a helluva a cement footer and it would be tough for even a horde to bring down. Only so much surface area for humans to hang from and/or stand on.
