I think Minnesota will start losing more than MSU towards the end of the year so I'm rooting for Minny. Plus I hate MSU so there's that.

I'm confusing the hell out of my 13 year old son. Turned the ND game on the other day and he said "go Clemson!" I told him we needed ND to win. Turned the IU game on last night he said "go Maryland!" I told him we needed IU to win. Turned the MSU game on tonight and he asked "OK, who are we cheering for here?".

I think I'm going back to the old rules, no ND, no IU and no MSU cheering in our house. It just feels wrong otherwise.

I don't know how anyone could think that it would be good for MSU to beat Minnesota when they are both tied in the loss column in the Big Ten. Does anyone really believe that Izzo will finish below Minnesota in the B10 by the end of the year? Not a chance.

Oh a Ricky Pitino coached team definitely scares me more than one coached by Izzo. Haven't you heard, Izzo isn't an elite coach, his record is just meh!

Maybe the others were thinking because we play msu twice and minny once...controlling the destiny thing. I somewhat agree with you in that msu has a good chance to finish better than minny
