Haven't been able to chime in on Saturday's "performance" as I've been traveling and while it's terribly disappointing to lose a missed opportunity for a road win, one positive out of the whole affair is that after an inordinate number of Purdue turnovers leading to easy points for Minny, some very questionable calls by the refs and a lack of free throw attempts by the Boilers, they had a chance to win or tie the game in the closing seconds on the road.
With going down early in the first half and then again in the second, they didn't roll over but fought and clawed back into the game. If they can learn from that experience, they should be able to better account for themselves when visiting East Lansing. Columbus or Bloomington in the next few weeks. The road game up next at Rutgers should also be some tonic for their wounds suffered in the barn.
