Haven't seen this posted here, yet. Gelen is now a 3 sport D1 athlete. Very impressive! Football, track and field, and he won his first wrestling match last night. The kid is a stud.

I'd bet he's pretty close. Id say 265 at a minimum from the looks of him at the meet.

I think he will be a DE full time for us moving forward. We need the most help there.

Yeah, I never thought he was going back to lb. the jack position they like is perfect for him.

Besides Danny E looked to be more natural at lb

Glad to hear he is fully utilizing his skills. Our wrestling team seems to be doing well. Although in the B1G, that is relative. About like women's volleyball: You can be a ranked team and still finish 7th place!!

3 sports. That doesn't even happen that much in high school anymore. I would imagine there's only a couple of D-1s doing that

wrestling team is doing well, ranked 21st. This is Ersland's first year. He's from and been at winning programs and it seems like he knows what he's doing. They are on BTN today at 2 vs Ill. Should be an interesting match.

After being the high school state champion in both wrestling and the discus in Track & Field I was hoping he was going to give it a shot in college.
