OT: Michigan with two TD's against Maryland. Things could change, but that one might be a name your score game....MD with the flag/1'000 colors helmets today.
I've said it before and will say it again. Comparing sophomore years, Blough is better than any QB we've had in 20 years other than Brees. I think he could be better than Orton over 4 years if we get him some help and good coaching the next two years.
I like Blough; really tough with the cupboard so bare.....hopefully, help is on the way.....
Boilers with 174 yds....not bad for a 1st quarter. This team is at least staying competitive in the initial half.....the depth and defense issue is hard to overcome for an entire game.
they do like to hold , saw some on our DE's but it's not the Pro's where they call it.
yeah.....still can't believe that Walsh kick last year....of course it was the Seahawks, who seem to bring that stuff out of teams.
they rule that a catch for Minny but how did they rule Mahongou's not a catch.
No worries Pa....I was just saying in general.....whether it's a D-lineman holding or O-lineman clearly holding.....call it. Granted, they do miss it sometimes, but from my understanding, that's one of those things they are supposed to be looking for.
Mahoungou's catch along the Purdue sideline looked good, the ref was motioning bobbling the ball, there was none.
Now that's how you finish a half! First series is huge IMO.
And I'll make the same observation today as last week. Where is everyone on this board? That was a thoroughly enjoyable half of football. But if we end up losing this in the 2nd, we'll have all sorts of company on here.

Now Coach Parker should get them in the mindset of the second half being a new game. It's 0-0 all over again and they will win that half! That would be my approach to it. If I was him I would be on their a$$es about that the entire second half.
glad we got the TD but I must admit , I would have kicked a FG. Also I'd like to say I like our TE's.
A lot of folks are jaded and used to second-half and late-game collapses, so I don't blame them for staying away from posting early on in the game.
I'd keep them out on the field, of course bathroom visits allowed.
