He won't ask me of course, but I think he'll have a better shot at getting to the Final 4 quicker from the Big Ten West with a 2 year head-start than from the ACC Atlantic starting from a post-Petrino burn down.

But its money and emotion driving the bus.

Good luck.

We keep forgetting the EGO thing. Don't tell me Brohm doesn't have it, and bringing Lew Ville back from the dead would certainly boost that. A lot.

They aren't as dead as we were when he arrived and he's we'll on the way to reviving this mess.

Bringing Purdue to National prominence would be a much better achievement and get way more press than bringing Louisville to National prominence. If Brohm thinks this might be his only chance to go to Louisville then perhaps he takes it; but I don't see it that way.

the biggest I see is UoL was just relevant 2 years ago. Seems to be a very short leash. My concern is how short of leash would UoL give me if I'm Brohm.

So you're saying Purdue is a bigger challenge than making Lewville a winner? Not good for Purdue to hear that.

Not so fast, that is not what I am saying. I know you are heartbroken Brohm didn't go to Louisville, but what I am saying is Purdue has been down a little longer and since the BIG is a better conference and also a more popular football conference that rising to the top over the likes of Ohio State, Wisconsin and Michigan would be a far greater achievement than anything he could do at Louisville! And because it is a more popular, stronger conference he would also get more recognition in doing so!
