Yeah this will be about as helpful as putting Parker in charge of Haze’s last team.
I suspect an alum is paying for the difference. They wanted him OUT.
rumor , Frost had a post game altercation, if true Univ. has cause to fire and thus no buyout.
Wow. I'm impressed they had the gumption take action so close to a buyout reduction.
That said, if the situation were the same...it would have been worth whatever it cost just so as to not have to watch (or hear) Hazell any longer...and, my guess is that was precisely the feeling by most everyone in/around Lincoln as well.
That there were 27 such games in his tenure is pretty crazy on its own.
The bigger problem with that though is that games against the likes of Georgia Southern should not be one-possession games...and, that was true of probably at least half of those other one-possession games.
That dude was given EVERY chance to succeed, and then some...they avoided firing him at literally all costs, until last night, when it became imperative...regardless of cost(s).
