I posted Wednesday that Williams was in a boot during a 6 a.m. workout. He had crutches, too, while he was watching some of his former teammates at the pro day that afternoon.
I don't have any official word on what the injury is, but making a guess here that it could keep him out of spring ball. That's based on Darrell Hazell's interview schedule -- he basically tells us who we can talk to during the spring except for a couple pick-em days in the last week -- and Williams is not on it the day with the rest of the DBs.
