Football Ticket Sales Spike

Makes sense. For as unpopular as a Friday game might be the alums who have to travel in, it's going to be easier for the students and sub alums around the Lafayette area.

I think we need to get the $100k people to take our program to the next level though.

Hope I'm reading this wrong but $40k worth of tickets is not very much...even at student rate of $5.00 that's only 8000 people. Does this maybe mean additional ticket sales other than Season ticket holders etc? But either way, need someone of those folks please give us a critic on new "Boiler Gold"....lol!j

That's 8k more than the home opener last year. That's a pretty significant increase especially after our last 4 years.
It is nice to see an uptick. I went Saturday and had a sense of dread all day expecting a shellacking, regretting my decision to buy tickets. Not going Friday but find myself wishing I was.

Nice to see some excitement after having several bad seasons. Folks are getting excited now just wait until Purdue actually starts winning some games. Folks are starved for a winning program.

The stadium was surprisingly full kids tickets were 5 bucks, took my 3 year old we left at the half because he had enough but he was pretty good.
