Who else is loving Markell Jones? That kid has quick feet and "pop" to get the extra yards. I'm very happy we got him, and I would like to see him more (although DJ has been good, minus the fumbles). I think he's the first really good running back I've seen us have as a freshman in a while. I loved the Jerrod Void, Joey Harris, Kory Sheets, Montrell Lowe days of always having a guy that could scoot. However, I want the next "career" back like Sheets, and I'm hoping Jones can grow into that.
I hope we come out thumping with the run, and then set up some more deep passing Saturday. My one request of Shoop-y is that we don't take the foot off the gas if we have a lead. I wish he called a game that was more like we're trying to embarrass the other team, and not just squeak by.
