Got to make people free to work if they want & eliminate Govt dependency
Increasing the % in the workforce...
1. I would add money to....
Educational loans for people to get degrees, even vocational.
2. I would add money to day care, so all could work or get ed.
3. Add $ for public transit so they can get to work or education in the cities.
4. Add $ for programs to get people off drugs & back to work.
5. Add $ for treatment of mentally ill.
6. Regulate border allowing max in. Police. Require entrants to have a job within 3 months or be deported.
Where libs & I differ, I would....
1. Eliminate ALL handouts. ....to increase % in workforce.
2. Eliminate all Govt healthcare except seniors 67+ & disabled. Require businesses to provide healthcare with G protection for all to stay on it with rate protection.
3. Cut most of the WDC workers and agencies by 3/4ths.
4. Completely cut OUT the dept of education....perhaps consolidate or eliminate a few others too.
5. Cut military spending. Perhaps by half.... depending on national activity.
6. Require citizenship test to vote Require voting ID.
7. Let anyone become citizens if they, pass citizenship test in English, can read & speak English, have a job & a residence.
8. Term limits. One term.
9. Donations for state offices only from state residences. Do better regulation national donations.
10. SS @ 67. If you want off the SS system as an option Govt will give you twice what you paid in as one lump sum.
11. Give no money to foreign countries.
12. Eliminate property taxes. States can switch to other revenue.
