Spoke with Morgan Burke Wednesday afternoon about the cost of attendance, which he calls a "gap payment," for a story in our upcoming football preview magazine. But we also talked about the recent survey sent out to alumni, JPC members, etc., and more about the football master plan/SEZ.
I'll have a full story later today, but here's a quick snippet:
The first phase of the football master plan actually has already been approved. It’s the concrete repair work in the southeast and southwest corners of Ross-Ade Stadium. It'll cost $2.7 million, and Purdue will pull from reserves to pay for it, Burke says. That project will start after the season.
"By the end of December, we will take the Mollenkopf and the stadium and we’ll come up with a series of projects that will sequentially make sense and you go as fast as your capacity allows you to go, but people can see the whole picture."
More to come ...
