First Commitment is in the Books

I thought it would come after the first camp. Coaches, I think, like to see the players live. On tape, they all look like All-Americans! Now that someone has jumped in the pool, others will join in.

Agreed. With Coach Brohms record at WKU, he and his assistant coaches must have an eye for talent, that fits their individual schemes they run on "O" and "D".
The amount of effort and energy they have had too put in HS players minds, this isn't the old Purdue, there is a new Sheriff in town and "we are not backing down from anyone, are you gonna fight with me", then get on board!

As CJB talked about a 3 hour radius from WL, a lot of talent can be had in that stretch, but maybe increase it out to a 5-6 hour radius, Whoa Nellie, he can really cash in.
We would be talkin' In., IL., Mich., Wisky., Missouri, Ky., TN., Ohio, Iowa, oh the fun of it!
Boiler Up and get on board!!!

Always comforting when they have Ivy League offers. At least shows they have what they need academically
Do none of the Ivy League schools offer athletic schollies? Thought they did not, or maybe it was just some schools and only partial scholarships.

Yeah, it's one of those things they say that they can beat their chest about, we don't offer athletic scholarships. But don't think that means that the athletes are paying their own way, as I've heard former athletes say they didn't have to pay anything.
I had a Purdue classmate who was offered a "football scholarship" to Dartmouth. He showed me the letter. It said he was offered a full scholie, then it said the Ivy League doesn't offer athletic scholies, then the last line of the letter was "However, if you accept this scholarship, you must play football."
