Painter held Morgan Burke hostage in 2011 using the Missouri job as bait. Painter wanted the big contract and got. Only problem is, Painter has never really done squat since he got overpaid. Today's first round choke job simply underscores that.

They were worried about Denver's thin air. I am more concerned regarding Painter's hot air.

For what it's worth, here is Painter's resume since getting the huge contract. He's being paid top 25 coaching money but not producing top 25 results:
