Fire Mack???

I don't know who Mack is. Is he the Northern Iowa coach? I am assuming so.
I am gonna say the same thing I said on my long post. Did this coach inherit a program that was the all-time leader in his conference for wins within that conference? Did Coach Mack come in last in his conference two years ago, losing at home in the last game of the year to the perennial bottom feeder in the conference in a game that was over with five minutes to go? If so he ALSO deserves to be fired!
I know you're trying to imply that the fan base is over-reacting to one loss. But it's not the one loss: it's the loss in the CBI tourney at home three years ago, and the last place finish two years ago. Those are the unforgivable loses; not last Thursday.
You can keep posting these threads and I'll just keep pointing out that Painter got embarrassed at home two years ago by Northwestern to come in last place in the Big Ten. It's up to you!

That's it, attack me, not my points or my logic. You know what else says "alot"? A lot is two words: a lot? Attacking the poster and not the post says a lot.
I will say that I am somewhere in between the 2 sides on this. But, you surely realize the Painter negativity is not solely based on just the last loss. So, can we stop with the "Fire whoever" posts already?
You really don't even know who Chris Mack coaches but you expect to be taken seriously on points you make about college basketball? Get out and watch a few games first and then maybe your opinion will be worth listening to. Until then, I'll leave the grammar to you and respect the opinions of those who know alot about basketball.
I'm sure we won't stop seeing these types of posts. There are too many that fail to see the pattern, and even more with the same Purdue attitude of "we're kind of good some of the time and we should all just be thankful for that."

That's a pretty major school; you kinda can make fun of me for not knowing that. But I didn't watch the Wisconsin/ Xavier game last night because the tourney is ruined for me, AGAIN.

Calling out others while making basic spelling mistakes kind of dims your holier than thou attitude.
the one game vs them that I remember was in , I think ronnie Johnson's frosh yr., we had a double digit lead on them , at their court, started to play non aggressive w/ 8 min. to go and lost that large lead and game.
It seems to me you are setting an arbitrary cut off point in your rant against Painter. Why not include the years he won the BIG, and had several coach of the year awards? Doesn't fit your agenda, I know, but needs to be part of the discussion.
Did you see that coach K and the Duke Blue Bloods blew a 27 point lead against Yale? Holy cow! Yes, Duke suvived, but just. Can you imagine a team like Yale, first time in the NCAA I think, doing that to mightly Duke, last year's NC? Wow, coach K has really let himself go. Maybe the Dukies should put a poll on their website: Is it time for coach K to retire?
