D is on the struggle bus but has a pulse.
Running game is really clicking WITHOUT Markell Jones.
But wasting it on a football message board about said game. Got it.
I'm enjoying the game. Are you? What happens at the end of the season - or before - is irrelevant to me.
yeah, I've got this thing called a "smart phone", it allows me to get on the internet even when I'm outside.
We're winning? Illinois is worst team in D1 big 5 conferences probably besides Purdue. I know alumni who went to Maryland last week and Maryland fans felt so bad they bought beer and dinner for them. You must be joking. If Hazell somehow got Purdue back to winning half its big ten games or more then I'd be first to support him. But if u think for a second he deserves anything but criticism to this point then you must be joking. I'll give him this, I am surprised Purdue scored 21 points in one game. But with this small lead don't be surprised if Illinois wins this. Purdue's defense doesn't exist. The way Illinois is running it I could see a double digit loss today before any type of win. If Purdue wins it will be a shootout against a bad bad team. Hardly anything to be excited about.
Too many people on this board can't separate being furious with the AD and/or coaching staff and cheering on the student athletes representing my alma mater. They are mutually exclusive to me. We will almost certainly have a new coach 2 months from now. But we are on the road in conference and winning at half. As long as the team doesn't give up, I'll keep cheering for them. But for some on here, everyone and everything is "garbage". Some even claim not to be watching the game but still somehow feel the need to disparage the players. I think that says quite a bit about those fans.
We may still lose by 30. If so, fire Hazell before the bus gets to the Indiana line. But I love CFB. I love it even more when we are competitive. And so far today, we are.

I watch every game, my wife doesn't know how I do it, I hope we win too, but if there is bad play , I'll say what I feel minus calling the players name.

Two terrible penalties have been huge for ILL. We've been pretty disciplined this year but the two unnecessary roughness penalties have been brutal.
Says the biggest whiner about other people whining, but feels superior in his own little whiny way.
Sorry - guess I just can't get excited about an awful team being competitive against another awful team. My bad.

Just turned it on in time to see idiot Wilson kick the QBs helmet and Young get hurt.
But Lankford Johnson is looking good.
I assume a medical redshirt for Young is not an option this late in the year?
