Fire Greg Gard!!

Two weeks ago, (almost) everyone had Wisconsin as the presumptive outright conference champion. Now there's a chance they'll slip to 5th in the conference and miss the double-bye.

When they were 8-1 and we were 6-3 I didn't see them doing as poorly as they've done (3-5) or us doing as well as we've done (7-1). I doubt many people did.

Alverez was not happy when the Count quit mid season and forced Gard on him. I don't know the contract details but I would not be surprised if he made a move.

They are a senior laden team coming off a decent year last year. Most expected them to challenge MSU for the title with Purdue somewhere in the mix along with IU. Congrats to the Boilers for giving them a big dookie burger to eat. (Lou Brown).

Hell....they were 10-1 in conference and ranked in the top 10. I for one totally missed on them and never saw them losing more than maybe twice, let alone five of six. Now Koenig's injury did play a factor.....but still.....not what you'd expect from an experienced team.

Happy to eat that tasty crow......

yeah, but he left his heart in San Franscico.

Yes, at 9-1 their last 8 games looked easier than ours. Yet, they've going 2-5 and we went 6-1 over the last 7. or something similar to that. At the turn, I thought we had the more difficult schedule of Wisky, MD, and Purdue, but per KenPom we had the easiest conference schedule in the BIG.

that play where Bohannon made the game winner, how does Wisky's veteran player go up for a rebound when the ball bounces 15 feet in the air, also one of my pet peaves is foul shooting, Happ is terrible.

yes....and they were God awful again last night.....5-14 (Happ, 1-7)......THAT gets you beat.

Next year might be a tough one for Wisky....even if Happ is there still...lose alot of senior experience.

Recruiting is key for their coach to fill the holes........if not, then yes he might be gone next year or two.....

Four of their starting five graduates. Pritzl and Trice have had their moments, but they need some others to step up big time.....even with Happ, you'd have to think they will take at least a step back. Iowa, Minnesota, and Penn State looking to move up and step into the void. Michigan State will be different without Bridges, but I expect them to be more consistent and still a potential contender.

But hey.....THIS season is far from over.
