And Bryant has been called for an offensive foul or two simply because he is much bigger than the defender. I know many here don't care about him, but we should care that conference refs just don't know how to "non-call" big men sometimes.

He made more mistakes than that...that was indeed a big one certainly, but, it is than in conjunction with the others that he made that has him in the situation that he is in...very similar to what happened to Painter actually. He lost an entire recruiting class...and has had a lot of turnover seemingly as well...add that to then having Lyle as the guy running things, and it is why OSU is where they are at right now as a program.

Lyle has been a real disappointment. Wasn't he top level recruit out of HS in Indiana? I recall allegations of handlers and baggage but could be wrong. Wasn't Crean interested in him?

Yes but to be honest he was a Louisville, Ohio State, Kentucky kind of kid. Had a ton of guys around him with their hands out and couldn't spell Buckeye.
